PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

About Tetris Energy
Tetris Energy is a developer of renewable energy projects, having successfully developed 10 projects over the last four years. The team is small but rapidly growing to meet its ambitious strategy to develop 3GW of wind farms over the next 5 years. The culture is relaxed, informal and agile.
About the role
We are seeking a Project Development Manager to drive the advancement of multiple wind projects within our growing portfolio. In this key role, you will play a pivotal part in progressing projects through the development process and towards construction. As part of our expanding development team, you will report directly to the Director of Development and contribute to the success of our renewable energy initiatives.
What you'll put into it

Lead wind projects from early-stage development to ready-to-build, covering planning, environmental approvals, resource assessment, grid connection, and procurement.

Serve as a key interface with partners and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage and foster relationships with landholders and engage with local communities.

Maintain a strong commercial focus, overseeing project budgets and assessing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).

Procure and manage external consultants for planning, grid connection studies, and other development activities.

Contribute to turbine selection in collaboration with OEMs and the Tetris commercial team.
What you'll bring to it
-
Relevant degree in commerce, engineering, environmental science, planning, or a related field.

Experience in renewable energy development or a related sector such as investment, wind engineering, or environmental planning.

Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with landowners, consultants, and investors.

Proven problem-solving and project management expertise, with experience implementing best practices.

Understanding of and experience in Australian energy markets.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
